A fire safety plan box provides a central location to store a building’s fire safety plan, emergency contact list, inspection checklists, and other important documentation. In many Canadian jurisdictions, a fire safety plan box may be required for buildings with an approved fire safety plan. In other locations, it is highly recommended by local fire departments.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor installation, the box helps keep essential fire safety documents protected, organized, and readily accessible during an emergency.

The box can be secured using one of the included padlocks, allowing authorized building staff to access the documents. If staff are unavailable during an emergency, the padlock can be cut by the responding fire department. A second padlock is included and can be stored inside the box so it can be secured again after emergency access.
